Exeter RI 48th Memorial Day Parade 2023
It was a great day had by all!
We couldn't have asked for a better day to have the 48th Annual Memorial Day Parade in Exeter!
As an Exeter Resident my whole life I couldn't have been more excited when I was asked to photograph the Exeter Parade. I arrived early at the start of the parade route and observed as the procession of antique cars, jeeps, tractors, and BMX Riders started lining up. Emma Acres was adding finishing touches to their float that featured a beautiful calf. Kids Dressed in Red, White & Blue. A dump truck from a lifelong local Exeter Business was also part of the line up. I found myself a great spot to capture the Parade as it rolled down the Parade Route right beside the Parade Judges. I got to see some great performances from people who were trying to win over the judges. The young men from Troop 45 Presented the judges with bouquets of flowers. So Sweet.
