A Grateful Wrap-Up to My Exeter, Rhode Island Holiday Mini Sessions
As the year comes to an end, I wanted to pause and reflect on what was truly a beautiful holiday mini session season here in Exeter, Rhode Island. To every family who stepped into my natural light studio—thank you. Your trust, your energy, and your willingness to simply be yourselves made this season so special.
As a Rhode Island family photographer, I don’t take it lightly when families choose me to capture their holiday memories. Whether you’re from Exeter, or anywhere across Rhode Island and other surrounding area states, I’m so grateful you made the time to join me during such a busy season.
While I love sharing highlights from my sessions, I also want to acknowledge that not every client chooses to have their images shared publicly, and that is always completely respected. Your privacy matters, and I’m honored whether your images are displayed on your walls, tucked into albums, or shared quietly with loved ones.
Why I Chose Natural Light for My Holiday Mini Sessions
This year, I made a very intentional decision to photograph my holiday mini sessions using only natural light in my Rhode Island portrait studio. Over the years, I’ve learned that many children—especially younger ones—don’t always respond well to traditional studio lighting.
As a Rhode Island children and family photographer, my priority is always creating a calm, comfortable environment where kids can move freely and parents can relax. We were incredibly lucky with the beautiful Rhode Island weather and soft winter light, which allowed me to capture timeless, natural images without the need for artificial lighting.
The result was exactly what I strive for: authentic expressions, genuine connections, and natural family portraits that truly reflect each family’s personality.
Ending the Year Full of Gratitude
I’m so thankful for every family who attended my Exeter, Rhode Island holiday mini sessions and for the continued support of my small photography business. These sessions are about more than just photos—they’re about preserving memories, slowing down, and celebrating this season of life.
As I look ahead to the new year, my heart is full and my camera is ready. Thank you for another unforgettable year at Heather Golding Photography tiny portrait studio.
